For many consultants and presenters, writing is part of the job. For Adrianne Gordon writing has a role all its own. Her experience crafting and executing marketing campaigns as a blogger and e-newsletter editor provides a deeper understanding of branding, messaging and communication for internal and external audiences that adds valuable to her advice and seminars.
Adrianne’s writing contributions mirror the variety of the topics covered in her consulting and presentation engagements. In 2014, Adrianne partnered with DONA International, a world wide organization dedicated to the training, certification and promotion of doulas, childbirth and postpartum support professionals. She launched The DONA Doula Chronicles, the organization’s first blog and assumed the role of Editor for their nine regional e-newsletters.
Outside of her writing on topics, practice tips and current research related to birth and the postpartum period for DONA International, Adrianne has also been a guest blogger at A New (England) Life and contributes to the blog for JB Media Group, the Internet marketing agency where she serves as Director of Marketing and Operations.
She has written extensive marketing content for the SBTDC at Western Carolina University including regional annual reports for distribution to elected officials and university leaders, articles for the College of Business’ newsletter, website copy, social media content, e-newsletter and email campaigns, press releases and event flyers.
